Opportunities to serve in your local community

​Eden Village Of Wilmington is a tiny home community for the chronically homeless. They have an ongoing  need of teams to serve and share a meal with residents.

Soaring As Eagles empowers families of Title 1 schools through personal, emotional, educational, and professional development. We'll be at GLOW Academy  from 9-12 Saturday mornings, 2/15, 3/1, 3/15, 4/5, 5/3 & 5/17.  Volunteers are needed to work with 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. The focus will be on experiential learning activities in small groups that are geared toward improving End of Grade (EOG) test scores. 

 The Harrelson Center supports and partners with other nonprofit organizations in the community to meet needs such as safe and affordable housing, education, employment, health care and family support. 

SJC is a financial partner with the Help Hub where those in need can receive emergency financial assistance and connection to community resources.

​SJC is a food collection site for NourishNC helping to provide healthy food to hungry children.
